Fore Her is a 501(c)3 organization that was started in memory of Founder Amy Walsh’s mother and aunt, who both lost their battle with breast cancer, to financially support patients currently battling breast cancer and their families.

Our Breast Cancer Awareness non-profit organization serving Destin, Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, 30A, Panama City Beach, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach, Navarre, Gulf Breeze, and Pensacola, was created to provide an environment for women to discuss their experiences, their fears, their concerns, and their needs while Fore Her offers resources needed to comfort throughout this journey.

The organization started initially as a gathering of Walsh’s family for a golf outing to celebrate their memory. But, remembering how financially taxing breast cancer was on their family, they transformed the event into a fundraiser, creating the Jeanette Hansen/Barb Schultz Golf Outing.

When Amy Walsh moved to the Emerald Coast she wanted to continue to make an impact, founding Fore Her and organizing the organization’s first fundraising golf outing.

Now, Fore Her has expanded in to a far-reaching support organization for breast cancer patients, using three signature events (Tea Fore Her, The Fore Her Golf Outing and the Pink Walk) to raise funds and financially assist local individuals diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing treatment.  Funds raised are used to pay for mortgage/rent or utilities or helping with auto repairs for patients to get to treatments.
